Welcome to our blog!

We're Alpaco, a small alpaca farm in a small town called Blaine. As of right now, we have 11 lovely alpaca, with 5 more on the way.

Our herd sire, Thunderbird, is 5 years old, and won 4 medals when he was younger. He's got 4th place in 2009 at the Alpacapalooza halter show, 4th place in 2009 at the north west alpaca showcase,
2nd place at the 2008 Alpacapalooza halter show, and 2nd place in the halter show at the AOBA National Conference.

Besides Thunderbird, we have 3 boys. But they are non breeders.
The first up is Solomon, who is the most social of the three. He loves to eat leaves, carrots, apples, and pretty much anything. He's got a bit of an attitude at times, and is always fighting with Thunderbird. I don't even know how he eats with all the spitting that goes on.
The next is Galahad, who is shy but loving and interesting. Like Solomon, he'll eat to his heart's content, and he's not picky at all.

Gawain is our last male, and the same age as Thunderbird. He's our only gelded boy, and he's calm, gentle, and extremely laid back. Rarely do the other boys mess with him, and he's like an older brother to the other two, even though none of them are related.
You can see Galahad in the background.
The three boys together.

Our oldest girl is Glory, but we call her Mama. She's 9 years old, and the dam of Grace and Ally. Mama is a bit reserved, but is very gentle. She is also incredibly small.
Our baby of the herd is Grace, she is sweet and loves her carrots. She'll even kiss you for them. Currently being halter trained, she is going to go into shows next year. We're hoping for the best!

Carmelita, my favorite due to her looks. She is soft and extremely gorgeous. Her personality is very strong, and she wont back down easily. Many of the girls flock to her when things get strange.
Ally is a young, sweet tempered, shy girl who warms up slowly but loves you to death when she does. She loves to roll in the dirt.

Our sweet Lilly is one who is not easily frightened, but takes a little bit of time to warm up to you. She is passive and does not normally push her way to the front of the herd like the rest so we make sure we give extra attention.
Our little Cleo is Canela's daughter and is all for coming up to you and getting carrots. She is not shy and loves to be fed. Cleo and Grace have many traits in common.

Canela is the mother of Cleo, and a lot less outgoing than her daughter. She's up for carrots, but wont force her way to get them.
